Konica Minolta AccurioJet 60000 inkjet press
The B2 model AccurioJet 60000 was presented for the first time at the 2,400 square meter stand in Hall 8B at drupa Messe 2024, which further enhances the quality and functionality of the sheetfed HS-UV inkjet printers KM-1/KM-1e.
The next-generation B2 size HS-UV inkjet printer "AccurioJet 60000" is based on the AccurioJet KM-1/KM-1e and has been used in various printing applications around the world since its inception, including various printing papers and PVC plastics.
AccurioJet 60000 Inkjet Printer Basic Specifications:
HS-UV inkjet inks developed by Dot Freeze Technology*
Output speed: 6,000 sph for one side / 3,000 sph for both sides
Available media size: 585×750 mm
High-reliability equipment management technologies, such as raw color management, image quality inspection system, inkjet head print quality monitoring, etc., achieve labor-saving and highly stable printing images
*Spot freezing technology is a unique technology that reproduces high-quality printing with excellent gradient and printing gloss, and achieves offset-quality inkjet printing on the surface of pure printing media. We achieved two conflicting functions at the same time without the use of pre-coated materials. One is high-speed inkjet ink injection, and the other is phase imaging, in which the ink gels while the ink hits the medium, fixing points to inhibit color bleed-through and mixing.
Lamda launches AI module press
Lamda unveils the next generation of its market-leading B11 digital printing technology, the Landa S11 and S11P nanopresses. The new Landa model offers extreme production versatility while achieving print speeds of up to 11,200 SPH. For customers looking to increase productivity while reducing job turnaround time, the increased speed brings excellent economic benefits to customers, and leveraging artificial intelligence technology, a new PrintAI module will also be available to further improve print quality. It ensures a perfect fit for the most demanding folding cartons and commercial print applications that require microtext and other brand protection features. PrintAI has opened the door to more profit-making opportunities for many businesses
The new Landa S11 and S11P models include a new ink drying system that can transfer dried ink from the blanket to the media at higher speeds of 11,200 SPH. The new high-speed feature increases productivity and improves economics, which is critical for printers and converters who want to create more jobs in a shorter period of time.
The new Landa S11 and S11P can be customized to the exact requirements of each customer. This means that each new press is available in four to seven colors, with continuous printing capabilities, an optional in-line coating unit, and the opportunity to purchase 11K modules and/or PrintAI modules that increase productivity to 11,200 SPH.
And, on May 30, Landa Digital Printing and Gelato announced a partnership to redefine what's possible in printing. Leverage Landa's nanoprinting technology and customer network, as well as GelatoConnect, GelatoConnect, Gelato's global software platform, to deliver on-demand, short- to mid-run digital print jobs with unmatched print quality.
Gelato is a software company that enables digital print-on-demand facilities to dramatically improve end-to-end production efficiency. GelatoConnect allows a single printing facility to compete effectively with legacy and traditionally bound manufacturing facilities, with local, on-demand production on a global scale through the world's largest on-demand production network.
Koenig & Bauer Durst presents the VariJET 106 single-pass press
At the Druba booth in Düsseldorf, Germany (Hall A-31-1, Hall 16), the advancement of its digital printing systems and software services in the folding carton and corrugated board market was demonstrated. The VariJET 106 single-lane press, with its market-proven technology developed by Durst and Koenig & Bauer, will make its public debut at the trade fair and will be regularly demonstrated in production.
At drupa, Koenig & Bauer Durst's VariJET106 was presented in a hybrid configuration linked to Koenig & Bauer's Rapida offset press technology and workflow. There are multiple production runs throughout the show. The latest die-cutting and folding gluer technology was also presented live at the Koenig & Bauer booth.
The market-proven Delta SPC 130 used in the corrugated market is another member of the Koenig & Bauer Durst family of single-lane digital sheetfed presses and an important focus for drupa. A control station will be set up at the booth to demonstrate how the Delta SPC 130 can work in production with Durst Workflow and Durst Analytics.
